SupplyOn and Euro-Log at the Automotive Logistics Forum: Smart Digitalization of Automotive Processes
SupplyOn and Euro-Log will be presenting their joint portfolio for integrated, end-to-end logistics solutions at the Automotive Logistics Forum (BVL | VDA) on February 5/6 in Leipzig. At the Congress Center, stand 24/25, visitors can find out how the IT solutions of both companies for intelligent logistics processes and supply chains are contributing to the digitalization of the automotive industry. The portfolio covers the entire supply chain and supports not only car manufacturers, but also suppliers and transport service providers in procurement and distribution.
According to the motto "Smart Supply Chains", SupplyOn is focusing on innovations in the field of "Visibility, Analytics & Intelligence" and presents projects in which insights into the production progress of suppliers lead to greater supply chain stability or where the analysis of data from internal and external systems provides reliable forecasts for supply chain planning. The basis for the successful implementation of these innovative processes and solutions is the comprehensive data pool of real production data available in real time on the SupplyOn platform. If this data is linked with logistics data, automated forecasts of quality and delivery times can be achieved at the parts level.
Using current projects as examples, Euro-Log is demonstrating how modern mobility concepts in automotive logistics can be implemented using innovative IT solutions. The focus is placed on connecting all logistics players, especially in multimodal supply chains. This forms the basis for the use of innovations such as artificial intelligence and Big Data. With an integrated Track & Trace, automobile manufacturers not only create real-time transparency in procurement and distribution. They also take up the end customer's requirements for updates on production and delivery status. Connecting with other players, such as garages, reveals additional potential, such as driver-oriented repair services and intelligent spare parts processes. Furthermore, it is important for transport service providers, tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers to make the operative implementation of their loading and transport planning measurable. Digital networking and data exchange in real time then enable short-term adjustments and lead to more efficient loading of all means of transport used, which in turn has a positive effect on the CO2 balance.
