Inside “IT’s your chance” — young female talent visits SupplyOn On April 28, we welcomed keen young girls to SupplyOn as a first-time participant of Girls' Day 2022. Girls' Day is a nationwide campaign in Germany in which schoolgirls from the 5th grade onwards have the opportunity to get a first-hand experience of interesting professions in mathematics, information technology, natural sciences and technology (MINT).Along with many other organizations and companies, we at SupplyOn opened our doors to give girls an insight into the versatile occupational field of IT and to spark their enthusiasm for it. Industry News · Inside 10 years of AirSupply – the supply chain platform of the aerospace industry celebrates Exactly 10 years ago, on 22 November 2011, the SCM solution for the aerospace industry AirSupply went online. On this day, the first transaction between Airbus and the supplier of the first hour, Elektro-Metall Export GmbH from Ingolstadt, was exchanged via the jointly developed AirSupply solution. One year later, Airbus had rolled out its entire supplier base for production materials, consisting of 700 companies. As a result, the previously used individual solution could be switched off at the end of 2012. (more…)
Inside SupplyOn apprentices (physically) enter the cloud As part of the welcoming events for new apprentices, and at the same time as a team-building program for all SupplyOn apprentices, our two vocational trainers Walter Thiel and Marco Gulluscio came up with something very special: During a two-day excursion, we visited a state-of-the-art Fujitsu data center in Neuenstadt, Germany.
