SupplyOn presents innovative “Industrial Track&Trace” solution at Hannover Messe 2019
SupplyOn AG, provider of intelligent supply chain management solutions for the manufacturing industry, is joining forces at the Hannover Messe 2019 trade show with Bosch Rexroth and smart factory solutions specialist IoTOS GmbH to present an innovative Track&Trace solution that allows seamless, real-time tracking of customer orders from placement through to goods delivery. This solution enables for the first time the centralized analysis of all data generated during production in different systems – all clustered at a single point. This creates a consistent record of a customer order, allowing problems in the supply chain to be localized and eliminated very quickly.
The use case presented at the Hannover Messe involves a smart home product whose electronic components are manufactured, assembled and tested by a single supplier. In the course of this process, large amounts of data are generated by the various systems. These include business data, order and supply data as well as data relating to quality and production. At the trade show, visitors will be able to see a live demonstration of how production data from electronics manufacturing and quality data from the assistance system ActiveAssist are clustered by the IoTOS Track&Trace application to create the so-called Device History Record (DHR). This set of data is then transferred – virtually in real time – to the SupplyOn platform to be linked to the business data available there.
On the SupplyOn platform, the data can be subjected to a wide range of analyses at any time – so as to identify the production status of an order or potential production bottlenecks, for instance. This means that for the first time it is possible to analyze stocks and quality data across the entire supply chain, quickly localize the origin and cause of defective parts and identify plagiarism.
The innovative use case will be on show at the Smart Electronic Factory e.V. stand in Hall 7, D26.
